Summary
We are looking for a passionate Embedded Systems / Linux Hardware Engineer to join our brilliant team in Vienna. While your main task will revolve around electronic circuit design of innovative, smart IoT boards and hardware testing, you will also develop software for verification as well as manufacturing tools. You will help shape the entire life cycle, from the initial idea to the finished product. This position requires analytical skills as well as interpersonal competences and offers many opportunities for personal development.
Responsibilities
- Realization of manifold requirements to provide high-tech & high-quality products such as Linux-based systems-on-module (SoM)
- Design, implement, test, and document analog and digital circuits for embedded systems, ranging from microcontrollers to high-end multicore processors
- Apply hardware design standards & methodologies
- Close cooperation with hardware engineers, the software team and the manufacturing team
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience and proven experience with Linux and its ecosystem
- Very good knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuit design
- Good knowledge of embedded circuit development
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills
- Understanding in design for manufacturing
- Completed university degree in electronics, embedded systems or a similar qualification
- Good English-speaking skills (German is a big plus)
